Cuban Owned Business Enterprise
Es² is a proud Cuban-owned business enterprise. In 1963, at age 17, Justino Milanes, father of Es² President Andrew Milanes, legally immigrated to the United States from Cuba with his mother and two brothers to flee the communist regime of Fidel Castro and settled in south Louisiana. Justino acclimated to life in Louisiana and earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. Justino would later obtain his teaching certificate and master’s degree and become a high school math teacher.
